I hope you will read our OfSTED report of May 2013 in which the inspectors judged the school to be good in all the four key areas; achievement of pupils, quality of teaching, behaviour and safety, leadership and management.
I am delighted with the report because it acknowledges the hard work put in by pupils, staff, parents and governors. Teaching and learning were graded as good in all year groups and all subjects with some teaching being judged outstanding. The teaching of reading and behaviour of pupils were highlighted as particular strengths. "Pupils are very confident and enthusiastic in lessons. They behave well and cooperate with each other and staff to make the school environment calm and lessons purposeful."
I would like to thank every one involved for their contribution to making such a positive report possible but I would especially like to thank the pupils and I look forward to seeing them progress as the school develops further.
